The winters in Traverse City can get a bit cold with average lows in January and February of 14 degrees, but there is no lack of fun things to do such as skiing and snowmobiling. The summers and warmer months of spring and fall area absolutely amazing here, literally amazing. The streets are lively with people, the nature and hiking trails have plenty of locals taking in the beautiful sites, and the lakes and bays are full of people enjoying some time out on the boat.
